- Mission: The hydraulic engineer's mission is to drive the hydraulic design within Material Handling product development, base study and cost reduction, so as to provide sustainable mining solution to customers with safety, quality and reliability. Specific Areas of Responsibility: 1. Analyze hydraulic systems for troubleshooting and optimization. 2. Create and modify hydraulic layouts and schematics. 3. Create and maintain bill of material for the hydraulic system, sub-systems, and components. 4. Participate and take an active role in continuous product improvement process. 5. Select standard hydraulic components. 6. Support sourcing in selecting and qualifying suppliers. 7. Assist manufacturing in any hydraulic related issues and find solutions. 8. Assist technical service and customer center on related field problems. 9. Participate in new product development and project process. 10. Write and supervise test procedures. 11. Support localization efforts, write technical reports; review and analyze locally produced hydraulic systems and components against design, quality, and integration requirements. Competence requirements 1. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 2. Team player, open-minded and flexible. 3. Must be a hands-on type of person. 4. Self-starter and goal orientated. 5. Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility Skills / Knowledge / Experience: 1. A breadth of experience in design, manufacturing in an industrial company is desirable. 2. Good command in English is required 3. Strong background in hydraulic knowledge on mining or construction vehicles. 4. 3D/2D design and draft ability for components and system schematics. 5. Knowledge in hydraulic system simulation and optimization. 6. Experience and knowledge in construction machinery preferably in mining.
